Small But Mighty
Almost 3 years ago I decided to start Eight Soap Co. due to some unexpected health issues that my youngest daughter was having.
Going to the hospital, many doctor appointment's and therapy, I had to change my career from a hairdresser to something else that would allow me to still bring in some kind of income. I had to figure out what I could do that would allow me to keep an eye on her and still help provide for my family. I quickly started praying and relying on God to guide and show me what to do. I already knew how to make simple soap and laundry detergent for my middle daughter who is allergic to so many things. I never in a million years thought this would be God’s answer for me BUT, it was. I remember I gifted some soap to my dad and as he was opening it, my husband said “She thinks she’s going to sell soap!” At the time he could not see the vision. My dad's response to him was “Don’t tell her she can’t do something buddy because she will show you she CAN.” That was water to my seed!!! I just want to share that response with you today.
God said “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord; plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 You see He declares it and He states “...plans I have for YOU.” I was scared and nervous 3 years ago because so many things were happening that I had no control over. Fear tried to take over but there was something inside reminding me of the truth. Telling me -
Do not fear for I am with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will guide your path. I Am the Light. Know that you are a child of God. Know that I sit on the throne. Know I am not a liar. Know I Am Truth. Believe my Word." You see not only was my earthly dad speaking a word over me but my Heavenly Father was too. This is a little part of my journey that I wanted to share with you. Indoor Event
A Give Away will be held the day of event. One lucky person will receive a mighty gift basket. Something from every vendor will be included but you have to show up to be included in drawing. All vendors will be donating 10% of proceeds from sales to the OTL Back to School Supply Fund.
